The LP-Research Motion Sensor Bluetooth version (LPMS-B) is a miniature wireless inertial measurement unit (IMU) / attitude and heading reference system (AHRS). The unit is very versatile, performing accurate, high speed orientation and displacement measurements. By the use of three different MEMS sensors (3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis magnetometer) drift-free, high-speed orientation data around all three axes is achieved. The included temperature and barometric pressure sensors allow accurate height measurements. The LPMS-B communicates with a host system via a Bluetooth connection. Several LPMS-B units can be used simultaneously with one host system.
Our Maker Edition product line is designed especially for people who like building things themselves. These are essential versions of our professional products that are very affordable and are provided with open-source software, firmware and schematic files.

LP-RESEARCH Inc. Maker Edition products contain the same internal hardware as their corresponding Pro versions. But we have stripped them to the bare bones, so the packages contain no sensor case, battery, battery recharger or cables. The units are also not calibrated, but we offer detailed descriptions and a software tool to help you calibrate them yourself.
All sensors come preprogrammed with our latest firmware. The firmware can be updated anytime with our free LpmsControl software. Firmware and programming library for the sensors are also available as open-source versions that you can use to create your own modifications.
